Cash vs. Credit??

I was reading through the Oct. All You this morning, and found an article about speding less and saving more called "Stash more of your cash". One of the tips in this article suggested that you "rely on cash instead of credit cards" because you will spend less when you actually see and feel the money and because you can carry only the cash you intend to spend. I personally disagree with this. I prefer to use credit and debit cards which offer rewards for your spending. If you are going to spend the money anyways why not paid to spend it? As long as you monitor how much you spend and pay off any credit card balances in full then this seems like a much better option to me! What do you think?
