WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

Yumm I made THIS Shredded French Dip recipe from allrecipes today and it was YUMMY!

1 (3 pound) boneless beef chuck roast = approx $3

1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed French onion soup, undiluted = $0.75

1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed beef consomme, undiluted = $0.75

1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed beef broth, undiluted = approx $0.65

1 beef bouillon cube = approx $0.22
12 Hoagie Rolls = $1.38
 
Swiss Cheese = approx $0.20
 
2 Tubs Mashed Potatoes = $1
 
TOTAL = $7.95 feeds 6 adults plus left overs!!
 
Everything except the roast and mashed potatoes was from this week's shopping. The roast was a stockpile item from a few weeks ago using a B2G1 Albertson's coupon at Publix and the mashed potatoes were from Publix when they had them 10/$10 and a $1/2 coupon in one of their booklets!
 
This was my first time making this and it was a big hit! I definitely plan on making it again as we have more roast in the freezer and extras of nearly all of the other ingredients!
